Regular Bateria Lucha / Maracatu Luta workshop where you'll learn maracatu, afoxe/ijexa, and other rhythms from Brazil (especially the north-eastern state of Pernambuco) and around the world.

This workshop are currently scheduled at 2905 Shattuck, though we're still looking for an ideal long-term location. Check back here for confirmed details.

This week, the whole 2 hours will be an all-levels workshop. The price will be $10, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. We'll have to be flexible for the next few workshops while we're trying out new the space and starting to get our regular routine built back up.
