(event) Lucha workshop @ Buena Vida Dance Club Start: 7:00 pm End: 9:00 pm Description: Regular Bateria Lucha workshop where you'll learn maracatu, afoxe/ijexa, and other rhythms from Brazil (especially the north-eastern state of Pernambuco). $10 and up sliding scale for the 2 hour class. No one turned away for lack of funds. Note: the following week, Thursday the 22nd is Thanksgiving, and I'll be out of town, so the next regular workshop after this will be on Thursday the 29th.
