Update:
EVERYONE: with a million apologies, the party tomorrow is canceled...just too many consistent weather reports today predicting 60 - 80% chance of rain tomorrow!! unbelievable for a september in san francisco, but it's real. i've never had to do this before, and i feel terrible, but it seems like the only thing that makes sense -- a barbeque/churrasco outdoors in the park, in cold rain, just doesn't work. i'll let you know as soon as it's rescheduled.

so here's a party invitation for another one of my big parties in golden gate park in a couple weeks on saturday, september 22, 2007. it will be a potluck barbeque (brazilian style churrasco), with a samba drumming jam/batucada (bring instruments and dirty dancing shoes and join in!), pagode, and lots of fun people -- same scene as my other going away/coming back/whatever parties in the park over the past few years. last party we had bossa nova, pagode, batucada, maracatu...
