(event) Grupo Samba Rio Carnaval fundraiser Start: 9:00 pm End: 1:00 am Description: Come and join Grupo Samba Rio for a Brazilian Night in San Francisco--a fundraiser party to support our participation in S.F. Carnaval. It will be a fun time--here are the details: Brazilian Night with Grupo Samba Rio! Friday April 13 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. at Il Pirata 2007 16th St., just east of Potrero Ave. in San Francisco (21 and over only) * CARNAVAL FUNDRAISER PARTY * * Featuring Grupo Samba Rio bateria * Pagode music with Jorge Alabe and special guests * Samba dancers * Brazilian and world music DJ * Delicious Brazilian snacks and full bar $10 cover charge, to support Grupo Samba Rio Grupo Samba Rio is directed by Jorge Alabe; contact Jorge Alabe at jorgealabe@yahoo.com, or Deborah at dlcogan@earthlink.net.
