"A benefit for Bay Area Young Positives, a local org for HIV+ youth... We're gonna call it Party for Progress or something like that, and we're going to pass the mic around so folks can talk about other organizations they're involved with, why they do the work they do, some discussion of passions, etc.. in addition to the main Bay + focus."

The current idea is that Lucha would "play after the open mic discussion part, probably around 10 PM-ish, for at least 45 minutes if not more. It'll be at Jeffrey Axelrod's loft at 22nd & Harrison. Other musicians on board are DJ Amar (middle eastern/world stuff, + entourage of bellydancers) and Yari with a short monkey chant workshop for fun - that'd pobably be toward the beginning."

Apparently Lucha's own Nicola will also do a DJ set at some point in the evening.
